For this wine, Jeff Gaffner blended Chardonnay from the Sandhill Block of legendary Durell Vineyard with small amounts of marssanne, roussane and vermentino from the neighboring Parmelee-Hill Vineyard. Both vineyards fall within the Sonoma Coast appellation and are acclaimed for producing extraordinary cool climate varietals.

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Our 2010 Être Chardonnay opens with really inviting tropical aromas of mango, papaya and pineapple. On the palate, though, it’s like an inside-out caramel apple, with crisp granny smith, kiwi and exotic spice flavors giving way to a delicate hazelnut cream richness that lingers on the long finish.”
