Scharffenberger Cellars Brut Rose Excellence NV (California)
$21.95/bottle or $17.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: “The wine has a pale salmon hue with integrated aromas of fresh raspberry jam and wild strawberries on a cream covered pastry base. The flavors are layered, round, fresh, fruity and long.”
Flowers Chardonnay 2015 (Sonoma Coast, CA)
$44.95/bottle or $37.50/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes:
“Light straw hue. Expressive aromas of citrus zest and lime-blossom are highlighted by honeysuckle and wet flint. The palate is heightened by a compelling, site-specific coastal minerality, textural salinity, and precise acidity that carry brilliantly through the finish. A true expression of both the grape and its proximity to the Pacific Ocean.”
Lola Pinot Noir 2016 (North Coast)
$21.95/bottle or $17.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: NEW RELEASE
Black Cherry, Blackberry, Rich “LOLA North Coast Pinot Noir is a blend of unique vineyards from Mendocino, Russian River Valley and the Sonoma Coast. 2016 was a great vintage for our North Coast Pinot Noir vineyards and the wine reflects that balance we saw in nature itself throughout the year. The wine is made in the same style as always, preserving the dark berry fruit, cola and redwood forest aromas of Northern California grown Pinot Noir while maintaining bright acidity, lower alcohol and a soft, supple, delicate tannin structure.”
Demure (by Desparada) Red Wine MV {2014-16} (California)
$21.95/bottle or $17.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: Primarily Grenache w/ Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah & Mourvedre
“This release of Demure breaks all the molds. Winemakers Vailia and Russell From (Desparada & Herman Story) challenged themselves to make the most pleasurable red wine they could without worrying about vintage or varietal. As always, the barrels that make up this blend were
made to the same standards as the winemakers? major offerings. Fermented in 1 ton open top fermentors after a 5 day cold soak. Punch downs and pump overs were given twice a day during primary fermentation. Wine was pressed off gross lees and aged in French Oak barriques for up to 36 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Cherries Jubilee, smoked huckleberry, fresh trimmed tobacco, blood orange, ripped steak, nutmeg and lightning struck pepper tree.”
MV = MULTI-VINTAGE
This wine consisted of grapes grown in 2014, 2015 & 2016
Faust Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 (Napa Valley)
$52.50/bottle or $39.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes:
“Faust is the epitome of the style that has made Napa Cabernet Sauvignon world renowned: bold and powerful, yet elegant and concentrated. Dense and inky, the core is a beautiful, rich ruby color. The aromas lift out of the glass with blackberry, black cherry, ripe raspberry and tea leaf. The entry is impressive with a fleshy mouthfeel and notes of cassis, dark chocolate and ripe berries. The layers continue to unfold throughout a long finish.”
“Wine Advocate” Tasting Notes: 90 Points
“Another strong effort from Quintessa is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Faust. This has an inky blue/purple color and notes of Asian plums, blackcurrants, road tar, and charcoal embers in a deep, wonderfully fruited, rich and savory, lush style. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.”
