Whether you’re hosting a party or planning on being the life of the party, then here is the perfect opportunity to pick out that ultimate sparkler: (please remember two-person maximum per wine club membership, no guests.)
Domaine Collin – Cremant de Limoux Brut Rose NV
$16.95/bottle or $14.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: “This elegantly constructed rosé is pale salmon pink in color. Though the wine is primarily made from Chardonnay, subtle wild strawberry notes are detectable in the nose and on the palate from the Pinot Noir. The crisp, mineral Chardonnay is softened by the lush and aromatic Chenin Blanc. The result is a lively wine with a lot of character, without any aggressive or astringent notes. This is a wonderfully versatile rosé ideal or pork and salmon dishes, or simply on its own as an aperitif.”
J Brut Rose Sparkling NV (California
$39.95/bottle or $29.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: “Our J Brut Rosé sparkles with a vibrant pink salmon hue and offers layered aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, Fuji apple, rose petals and a savory swath of toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, an elegant mouthfeel combines with flavors of ripe raspberry, blood orange and blanched almonds underlined by lively acidity and steely minerality. I recommend pairing it with roasted beet and goat cheese salad, or a simple plate of smoked salmon canape and Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog cheese.”
Brocard Pierre Blanc de Noirs Brut Champagne NV (France)
$49.95/bottle – 50% OFF on any purchase!
Winery Tasting Notes: “Clear gold color, yeasty nose of lavender, toasted hazelnuts, figs. Mouthfeel is rich, crisp and clean, with flavors of red plum, red raspberries, white cherries. This is a savory and delicious wine. 100% Pinot Noir from the 2006 vintage. Only 80 Cases Imported”
Taittinger “Brut la Francaise” Champagne NV (France)
$49.95/bottle or $39.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: “This Champagne is a blend of some 30 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards, respectively 40% and 60% of the total, from several harvests of perfectly ripened grapes.”
“Wine Spectator” Tasting Notes: 90 Points
“Subtle overall, offering a creamy mousse and a pleasing juiciness to the notes of apricot tart, slivered almond, orchard blossom and apple.”
